Police launch appeal after bird scaring device vandalised at farm

POLICE are appealing for information following criminal damage to a bird scaring device to protect crops at a Grappenhall Farm.

The criminal damage took place at a farm on Cartridge Lane between 01:00 hours and 12:00 hours on Tuesday 21st December.

Damage was caused to a mechanical bird scaring device used for crop protection.

It’s understood the damage occurred on land between the A50 and Weaste Lane.
