HGV driver suffers “life-changing” injuries after collision on M62

UPDATED: THE M62 Eastbound at Westbrook, Warrington, has now fully reopened following a ‘serious collision’ during the early hours of this morning when a HGV driver is believed to have been struck by his own vehicle.

The motorway was closed in both directions between Junction 7 at Rainhill and Junction 8 at Westbrook near Warrington just before 2am following the serious collision.
