Latest COVID-19 hot spots and vaccination data as downward trend continues although nine areas see increases

COVID-19 infection rates in Warrington continued a downward trend in the latest small area data, although nine areas of the town saw increases, with the Culcheth, Croft and Hollins Green areas particular hot spots.

While the overall trend remains down, the rate of decline has slowed with the latest daily figures released yesterday seeing 168 new cases confirmed, the highest number for almost a month.

The latest data published yesterday, November 17, for the week ending November 6, show COVID-19 infection rates in Warrington have fallen to 766 new cases in a seven-day period compared to 789 the previous week and 905 the week before that.
