INTERNET security giant ESET has appointed Warrington-based Yellowbus Solutions as a Gold partner.

The move recognises the managed IT support and cloud solution specialist’s expertise in and commitment to supporting deployment of ESET’s cybersecurity solutions.

With over 110 million users and serving 400,000 businesses in more than 200 countries, ESET is one of the world’s leading providers of internet security.
Headquartered on Birchwood Park, Yellowbus is now a specialist division of Avoira, one of the UK’s leading technology solutions specialists. Among benefits its Gold partner status will deliver is access to additional resources across ESET’s award-winning portfolio, giving the company a competitive edge in the SME and Enterprise markets.
Yellowbus commercial director and Avoira’s head of IT business, Michael Douglass said: ‘It is great to be awarded Gold partnership status. We look forward to talking to more customers about how ESET can keep them secure in the new way of working.
“With our focus on customers’ objectives, security and performance we have to ensure we only work with the very best in technology. That’s why we’ve worked for more than 10 years with ESET whose portfolio spans antivirus, end-point protection, firewall, 2FA and Encryption. When it comes to protecting IT environments, it’s the standard.”
Daniel Downer, channel manager at ESET said that earning Gold partner status meant Yellowbus will benefit from additional support in growing its client base.
He added: “Yellowbus have been awarded ESET Gold Partner Status not simply through having increased sales revenues, but by demonstrating an ongoing commitment to promoting the benefits of ESET products to their valued customers. We will be working proactively to support Yellowbus in becoming one of our top partners in the UK.”
ESET’s suite of cybersecurity solutions includes the artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) powered Dynamic Threat Defense Service. This cloud-based solution provides off-premise threat detection to support the ESET Protect portfolio which offers customisable, multi-layered protection of endpoints, business data and users.
