POLICE have arrested two males after responding to reports of a knifepoint robbery in the Great Sankey area, earlier this afternoon, Wednesday.
Two males have been taken into custody and stolen items have been recovered. No other details are available at this time.
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old male has been arrested and taken into custody after two teenagers were allegedly threatened with a knife on Barrowhall Lane, Great Sankey at around 5.15pm yesterday, Tuesday.
The male was arrested on suspicion of affray and possessing a bladed article in a public place.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 5.20pm on Tuesday, October 5, police received a call reporting a man armed with a knife threatening two other teenagers near to Barrow Hall Lane in Great Sankey.
“Officers attended to the scene and located him following a search. A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of a knife.
“He is currently in police custody.”
