THE popular Crafts and Snacks Church at St Mary’s Church, Lymm is coming back, bigger and better than ever.

After a long absence, due to COVID, Crafts and Snacks will resume on Saturday, October 16 at 11am.

It is open to children and their parents/guardians and involves 30-40 minutes of craft activities on a biblical theme, 10-15 minutes of songs and bible stories and ends with a buffet snack of sandwiches, crisps and cake.
Rector, the Rev Beverley Jameson said: “On October 16 it will be all about light so we will be making paper lanterns, decorating candles, sun-catcher crosses and decorating biscuits .
“Craft Snacks Church was extremely popular previously. Mums and Dads enjoyed it as much as the children.
“I am very much looking forward to lots of families coming for our morning of crafts, songs, stories, food, fun – and lots of cake.”
St Mary’s Craft and Snacks Church is free and open to children of all ages, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
For safeguarding reasons, the church will be closed to general members of the public who are not attending Craft Snacks Church.
On Sunday, October 24 St Mary’s is holding an informal family service at 10am when the theme will again about light and free glow sticks will be distributed.
