Large amount of cannabis seized after vehicle stop

POLICE seized a large amount of cannabis after a vehicle stop in Warrington yesterday.

Two officers stopped a car on Manchester Road and a large amount of Cannabis was found in the vehicle.



One male was arrested and has spent the night in custody on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug With intent to supply, no insurance and failing to stop.
In another incident, last night officers seized a vehicle in the town centre after it was seen driving down a one-way street… the wrong way.
The driver was also uninsured and the vehicle had not been MOT’d since last November.
