Police warning over rogue traders targeting elderly residents in Latchford area

POLICE have issued a warning over rogue traders operating in the Latchford area of Warrington targeting elderly residents.

Rogue traders have been active around the Gainsborough Estate area of Latchford.

Police say they hey are targeting elderly residents and knocking on doors, claiming they have completed work and are owed money.
Local officers are warning local residents not to be duped and if you didn’t ask for it, they have no right to payment.
The work was probably not done or to a standard far below what is expected.
