Man charged with firearm offences after threats made to teenage boys

DETECTIVES have charged a 30-year-old man with firearm offences after threats were made involving two 17-year-old boys on Burtonwood Road, Warrington, last Sunday.

Grant Pridham, of Borron Road in Newton Le Willows was arrested on Tuesday 7 September and subsequently charged on Thursday 9 September with two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.



Pridham was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Warrington Magistrates Court this morning (Thursday 9 September).

The charges relate to an incident that occurred on Sunday 5 September on Burtonwood Road, Warrington involving two 17-year-old boys alleged to have been threatened with an imitation firearm.
