Motorist charged with attempting grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving

DETECTIVES have charged a 35-year-old man with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving involving a police officer from Warrington.

Anthony McDonagh, of Russell Street in Derby, has been charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving.



He was remanded in custody and appeared at Warrington Magistrates Court on Monday 6 September.
The charges relate to an incident on 18 August 2021 on Woodhead Road in Derbyshire involving a Cheshire Constabulary police officer from Warrington.
McDonagh will appear at Manchester Crown Court on 4 October.
