WHILE 12 areas of Warrington have seen increases in new cases of COVID-19, other areas of the town have seen decreases, presenting a mixed picture across the borough.
As a result, the latest data from Public Health England shows infection rates over seven days appear to have plateaued when compared to the previous weeks data.
A total of 668 new cases were recorded across the town for the week ending August 7 – compared to 664 the previous week, 901 three weeks ago and 1,420 a month ago.
