Hunt for arsonist who set fire to bin outside community centre

AN appeal has been launched to help find an arsonist who deliberately set fire to an industrial bin outside a community centre in Warrington last night.

Shortly before 8.30pm one fire crew from Penketh was called to a fire outside Whittle Hall Community Centre on Lonsdale Close, Great Sankey, Warrington.

Firefighters used a water backpack to extinguish an industrial bin that was well alight outside the building.
The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tua quoting IML1058538.
