Church leaders launch appeal for return of stolen food van

CHURCH leaders in Warrington have launched an appeal for the return of their food van which was stolen last night, loaded with supplies given freely to local communities.

The White Luton van, belonging to King’s Church, Warrington, was stolen overnight from the car park of King’s Community Centre on Marina Avenue, Penketh.

It had been loaded with food for their Orford King’s Table Foodbank Pop Up.
Posting an appeal for infomration a churcgh spokespersons aid: “Unfortunately, we are having to look for alternative transport for food, which is freely given to our local communities. Please keep a lookout for a white Luton Van, DV12 HLF and, if you have any information, please contact us via DM to King’s Church account or by email to [email protected]
“Updates to follow about future King’s Table pop ups, as alternative arrangements are made.
“Please join us in praying for those who have taken the van – God loves them and this could be part of their story! Please pray for the van to be returned or found and that the food finds it’s way into the hands of people who need it!”
King’s Church Warrington is a part of Elim, an international denomination within the mainstream teaching of Christianity.
