Police warning following spate of burglaries at Locking Stumps

POLICE are warning residents to be vigilant in the Locking Stumps area of Warrington following a spate of burglaries recently.

There was a spate of burglaries on Thursday the 29th in the areas of Lords Lane and Hawkshaw Close in Locking Stumps, targeting the sheds/garages of residential properties.



Local PCSO Stefan Titans said: “This has been a worrying trend in recent months. Enquiries are ongoing to identify the offenders.
“I urge local residents to ensure properties are as secure as can be. If you have CCTV, check that this is in working order.
“If you witness any suspicious activity, do not hesitate to report it to us. This can be done via 101, or via the online submission form on the Cheshire Police website. In an emergency, ring 999.
“If you have witnessed something but are unsure if/how you should report, get in touch via this page and I will be happy to give advice.”
