E-Scooter rider charged with drug driving and possessing drugs

A 33-year-old man who was stopped by officers while riding an e-Scooter in Warrington has been charged with drug driving and possessing drugs.

James Cooper (33) of Poplars Avenue, Warrington, was arrested by officers after being stopped on Hilden Road at around 4.30pm on Friday 19 March.



He has since been charged with two counts of drug driving (cannabis and cocaine), possession of class A drugs (cocaine) and possession of class B drugs (cannabis).
He was also charged with driving without insurance and driving without a licence.
he has been summonsed to appear at Warrington Magistrates Court at 2pm on Wednesday 18 August.
