Police warning after spate of thefts from parked vehicles

POLICE are warning residents to ensure their parked vehicles are secure following a spate of recent thefts in the Stockton Heath and Grappenhall areas of Warrington.

A laptop was taken from a back seat of a car on Cross Lane, Grappenhall.
Meanwhile, a bank card was taken and used from an insecure car in Greenbank Gardens, Stockton Heath, while an insecure vehicle was also entered in Orchard Street, although nothing was stolen.

There have also been reports of attempted thefts from vehicles in the Grappenhall Heys area of Warrington overnight.
