VOLUNTEERS are being sought at Warrington’s Orford Pharmacy to help in the battle against COVID-19.
The pharmacy, owned by Imaan Healthcare, started carrying out coronavirus vaccinations back in January.
Now they are looking for community volunteers to provide vital assistance in guiding and directing patients upon arrival – as well as vaccinator volunteers to help with jabs.
Staff at the pharmacy have had to work around the clock to ensure the facilities meet the current NHS standards
Some have worked Saturday and Sundays, 8am to 8pm.
Anyone willing to help out can sign up to volunteer by contacting the team by emailing [email protected], although they will need to get in touch with their GP to confirm they are eligible to, with training provided.
The centre address is Bewsey COVID Vaccination Centre, Lockton Lane, Bewsey (opposite St Rocco’s Hospice).
