Eight new COVID-19 cases as infection rates show another slight decrease in Warrington

EIGHT new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington in the latest data from Public Health England, showing another marginal decrease in infection rates.

The 8 (8) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England, means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,796 (17,788).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are now 67 (68) – 31.9 (32.4) per 100,000 population, showing a marginal decrease in new cases over a seven day period for a second day. This compares to the national rate of 28.1 (29.3) per 100,000.
