Hosting Chorley, Warrington Rylands 1906 took to the field last night 102 days after their previous outing in December as football returned to Warrington.

Following the easing of restrictions on Monday Rylands welcomed the National League North FA Cup heroes to Gorsey Lane for a behind closed doors friendly as they ramp up preparations for the resumption of their FA Vase campaign. Rylands are due to travel to Northern League Shildon in the 4th round on Saturday 17th April.

Freddie Potter headed the Blues into a second-minute lead, goals either side of halftime gave the visitors the advantage going into the final quarter, however a brace of late goals from Connor Ready eased Rylands to a 3-2 victory.
Back in full team training, Rylands will continue their preparations for the trip to County Durham by mixing training sessions with further behind closed doors friendlies.
