THREE more patients have sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19, taking the total number of deaths since Friday to eight, while a further 66 new cases have been confirmed in the latest daily update from Public Health England.
The 66 (86) new COVID-19 positive cases reported in the latest daily update from Public Health England (Nov 9), means the total number of confirmed cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 6,998 (6,932).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days are 878 – 418.5 per 100,000 population. Although still early days, new infection rates have started to show a downward trend in recent days.
