Firefighters tackle fire in Lymm playground

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a fire in a playground at Lymm last night.

One fire crew from Lymm were called to reports of a fire at a playground off Maltman’s Road in Lymm shortly after 7pm.
On arrival the crew found a tyre swing well alight.
Water was used to extinguish the flames.
In another incident Firefighters from Birchwood were informed of a shed fire in Charnwood Close, Warrington, at around 7.40pm.
The fire was out on arrival.
A hose reel jet was used to damp the area down and make it safe.
