Nine houses planned for former factory site

UP to nine houses will be built on the site of the former Elastomer Engineering factory at Lymm, if planners give the go-ahead.

An application for the development has been submitted to Warrington Borough Council planners by Rushgreen Land Holdings Ltd.
Rubber mouldings manufacturer Elastomer was founded in 1966 but in July last year was acquired by Dexine Leyland Rubber Technology Ltd at Leyland.
Production has been transferred to the Leyland site and the Lymm site, off Millers Lane, has been closed.
