Firefighters tackle unattended cooking fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called out earlier today to tackle a fire caused by unattended cooking at a property in Lymm.

One fire crew from Lymm attended at premises in Grove Avenue shortly after 2.30pm following reports of a fire at a property.
On arrival, they discovered that food had been left unattended in a cooker.
Firefighters isolated the cooker and used a large fan to disperse smoke.
