Lymm Rector zooming into schools!

LYMM-based Rector Rev. Beverley Jameson is “zooming” into local schools to keep in touch with children in the village.

“Rev Bev,” Rector of St Mary’s Lymm, frequently went into the four primary schools in Lymm to work with the children pre-lockdown.
COVID-19 restrictions mean physically visiting schools is very difficult. So Rev Bev recently spent time talking about prayer with Year One pupils at Ravenbank Community Primary School via zoom.
A screen was set up so the children could see Rev Bev and she could see the children via, Year One teacher Sophie Cooper’s laptop.
Rev Bev said: “It was great to see the children and they were very excited to see “Rev Bev on the tele”.
“They asked some very good questions about prayer and waved like mad to say hello and goodbye. It is wonderful despite COVID I can still see the young people in Lymm.”
