Care home brings Blackpool to Lymm!

1

THE Sun was shining for the residents of Keate House Care Home in Lymm as they had a wonderful Blackpool themed day.

Throughout the morning the residents enjoyed virtual tours of Blackpool lights, played bingo and ate Blackpool rock whilst reminiscing about their own day trips to Blackpool with their children.
Later everyone enjoyed a fantastic fun afternoon, playing the penny slot machines, enjoying a ballroom dance to the Wurlitzer organ music from Blackpool tower and then had a little trip to their very own “Blackpool Zoo”.
The garden was full of lights, they switched their sensory garden lights, put up our fairy lights and the trees glittered with flashing stars.
One resident said: “ I had a lovely time and it reminded me of dancing with my girlfriend when I was younger and we went to the fairground after”.
Nothing stops Keate House from their annual Blackpool trip!
