Firefighters tackle car blaze at Lymm

FIREFIGHTERS were called out during the early hours of today to tackle a car blaze at Lymm

One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish a car fire on Mayfield View, at around 3.20am.
The crew then used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.
No details have been given on the cause.

Meanwhile Crews at Lymm Fire Station have noticed an increase in call outs to Deliberate fires at Ridgeway Grundy Memorial Park in Lymm over the last month.
They are urging people to protect community spaces so they can be enjoyed safely by everyone.
