EIGHT-year-old Warrington youngster Evie Bennett is putting lockdown to good use, by raising much needed cash for St Rocco’s Hospice.

She’s making personalised, refillable hand sanitiser bottles and selling them to raise money for the Warrington hospice.

Evie said :“I wanted to help St Rocco’s because it helps lots of people in lots of ways when they really need it. We have taken part in St Rocco’s events like the Starlight Walk but because of this horrible virus there won’t be as many events this year so I wanted to help”.

Evie is one of the Hospice’s 100 Faces Campaign, which will see 100 supporters each raise £1000 for St Rocco’s in 2020.
So far she’s raised an amazing £303 and plans to keep making bottles for as long as people want them.
Lara Partridge, head of Income Generation at St Rocco’s said “Evie is one of our youngest Faces, and she’s thrown herself into this challenge with such enthusiasm. We’re so grateful that she’s using her free time to support us at St Rocco’s.”
