THE number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Warrington have seen their biggest daily increase to 32 from 22 yesterday.
The latest figures released by Public Health England come after a further 393 people died across the country after contracting coronavirus COVID-19, taking the UK total to 1,808, a sharp increase in yesterday’s rise of 180.
The Warrington figures don’t include residents who could have the disease but have not been tested due to being in self-isolation after showing symptoms.
There have currently been two reported deaths in Warrington, both men, aged 59 and 71 who had been suffering from underlying health conditions.
There are now 25,150 confirmed cases nationally.
Warrington is still one of the least infected towns in the country with 15.8 cases for 100,000 population compared to Southwark, London where there have been 415 confirmed cases, 144 per 100,000 population.
