WI raises £395 for autism charity

A CHEQUE for £395 has been presented to local charity Creating Adventures by Lymm Jubilee WI president Gill Beckett.
She made the presentation to Jenny Allcock, founding chief officer of the Warrington-based charity, which raises funds to enrich the lives of adults with autism and learning difficulties.
The money was raised over the period of one year from selling handmade goods through Lymm jubilee WI’s trading table, as well as from the proceeds of two raffles.
Gill described the amount raised as “ phenomenal” and thanks all members who had contributed to raising the money.
