TRAFFIC delays were experienced across Warrington on Wednesday afternoon following “multiple collisions” on the M6 southbound.

The collisions took place between junction 21 near Woolston and junction 20 at the Lymm Interchange, with traffic slow moving on the opposite carriageway.

Warrington’s Own Buses reported disruptions to their service caused by the knock on congestion across the town.

Three Lanes of the southbound motorway were closed shortly after 3pm.
