Culcheth Players are proud to present their latest production, The Canterville Ghost.

The amateur dramatic society have been busy rehearsing for the Oscar Wilde classic, The Canterville Ghost, which has been adapted by Tim Kelly.

An average American family acquires historic old Canterville Chase – complete with ghost! Sir Simon, the sporting spirit, succeeds in making life miserable. Then the Americans strike back. Sir Smon feels this is hardly fair, so he enlists the aid of some friends: Hester the Horrid, Lord John the Graveless, the Vampire Duchess, and other things that go bump in the night. Life is hectic and fantastically funny around Canterville Chase, until the real solution to the problem of the ghost is discovered.

The comedy is to be staged in the run up to Halloween and is perfect family half term entertainment.

It is being performed on three nights from Thursday 18th October to Saturday 20th October at 7.30 pm at Culcheth Sports Club (The Daten), Charnock Road, Culcheth WA3 5SH.

Tickets are on sale now and are available from the bar at the club, or through the website at culchethplayers.co.uk or can be reserved on the ticket line on 07943 517710 or as always you can pay cash on the door on the night of the performance.
