A PARTY of Year 8 pupils from Birchwood High School are back after a fun-trip to France.
Two coach loads of pupils, accompanied by staff travelled through the Channel Tunnel and arrived at their chateau in Normandy in time for a traditional French dinner.
The following morning they explored the cultural aspect of rural France with a visit to Bayeux, a French bakery and a goat farm.
They also had the chance to use their French language skills when they stopped off to do a little shopping at a hypermarket. After dinner at the chateaux that evening, they rolled their own French crepes and took part in Karaoke.
The following day was taken up with a visit to Disneyland. The day was perfect, with a sprinkling of snow to make it even more magical.
On the final day was an early start as the group set off towards home. After an impromptu ferry crossing due to a problem with the tunnel, everyone arrived safely home.
