  2. Lest We Forget 🙁 Sadly I couldn’t attend the main service at Bridge Foot Cenotaph and memorial today, although I did show my respects and held silence remembering all the brave men and women who, over the many years, have lost their lives. Respect To All who have served past, and present and to those who will in the future too.
It looks like it was a lovely and moving service as always and having driven past the Cenothaph and Memorial many times this week and looked over and bowed my head to it as I always do it has been lovely seeing the large poppies there which have been fastened to the pillars. Shameful that the council refused to pay for them though…enough said about that for now though as today is about those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and given their lives for us all.
