WARRINGTON will boogie the night away on two evenings next month as two fantastic music events come to the Parr Hall.
Music lovers will be donning their dance shoes on the first weekend of July for the memorable melodies of 70s Disco and the distinctive rhythms of Northern Soul.
Returning to Parr Hall for the fourth time on Friday July 1, 70s Disco has proven itself to be an unforgettable night which fans flock to as they step back in time to the disco era, complete with all that glitters, and all that hair!
National DJs will be playing original vinyl and bringing back the sounds of Billy Ocean, Barry White, Edwin Starr, Chairmen of the Board, Bay City Rollers, Detroit Spinners, Donna Summer, Three Degrees, Chic, Kool and The Gang, T. Rex, Sister Sledge, and many more.
For those who shunned disco balls in favour of rhythm and blues there’s Northern Soul on Saturday July 2 featuring some of the country’s greatest legends of the genre.
A hybrid of American soul music and distinctive dance styles, the genre is still popular almost half a century later and this event will be sure to have Warrington dancing in the aisles.
Join the company of Ian Ellison, Moz Arnold, Pete Eccles, Mark Freeman and Steve Burke as they spin vinyl all night long, relive the glory days and be transported right back to legendary venues such as the Twisted Wheel in Manchester.
