Police hunt for gems burglar

POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary at a residential property in Stockton Heath, Warrington involving the theft of property including jewellery and euros.

Officers investigating the offence are keen to trace a male seen in the London Road area of Stockton Heath who was seen at 3:30pm on Sunday 6th running from an address in the direction of the London Bridge pub.

The man is described as white, approximately 20–30 years old, 6’2” tall with a slim build. He was wearing a green full length parka coat and a dark coloured bob hat. The man was last seen near to the London Bridge public house heading towards the village at 3:30pm.

The burglary occurred at an address on Grappenhall Road, Stockton Heath during the weekend of Friday 4 to Sunday 6 March

The offender accessed the property from the rear and once inside they conducted an untidy search and stole a quantity of goods, including jewellery and some Euro’s

Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 694 of 6/3/2016. Alternatively information can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
