WELL known Warrington businesswoman Sandra Brusby has died following a brave battle with motor neuron disease.
She passed away at her Penketh home while asleep, with her family by her side.
Sandra, who was awarded the OBE in 2007 for her services to business, was Managing Director of Business Venture from 1986 which she helped set up during the recession in the 1980s to assist business start ups with advice and
training.
It also provided support to look at lean manufacturing, business improvement techniques in order to assist with bottom line growth and recruitment.
It offered a vast range of services for business growth including access and assistance on entering the Indian market.
Sandra did nearly 30 years of dedicated services assisting businesses to start, develop and grow and access international markets without time wasting.
She had many international contacts and networks to assist business to get into new markets and was also a successful mentor and coach.
She was also Chief Executive of Business Link Cheshire & Warrington for nearly 10 years from 1997-2007 based at the International Business centre at Westbrook.
In November 2012 she was awarded a Masters Degree in Leadership and Culture Change from Manchester University.
She was also previously a non executive director of Warrington Primary Care Trust.
