Two injured after crash at Culcheth

TWO people were taken to hospital following an accident on Warrington Road, Culcheth, near to Risley prison.

One of the vehicles left the road and ended up in a field and the road was closed to traffic causing serious delays, as two people were taken to hospital by ambulance. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The collision took place near the junction of Glaziers Lane. The road has now been re-opened.
