HOME-MADE cakes were a popular item on the menu when a day of creativity was held by Warrington Borough Council’s central neighbourhood team in Fairfield.
The Fairfield Community Association teamed up with the Friends of St Elphin’s Park for the arts and crafts fayre at The Old School.
Funds raised went to the two organisations
Members of the Pavilion Tea Room brought their famous tea room to the event and sold a selection of home-made cakes to help add to the fundraising pot.
The day attracted nearly 100 local residents and saw a variety of stalls offering a variety of goods.
