St Patrick’s Day parade

WARRINGTON’S annual St Patrick’s Day parade takes place on Sunday – and the borough council has made an order banning traffic from the route of the procession.
The prohibition of traffic will be in force between 10.30am and 12 noon to allow time for the safe passage of the parade.
Streets affected are: Orford Lane, Pinners Brow, Winwick Street, Scotland Road, Academy Street, Academy Way, Friars Gate, St. Austins Lane, Museum Street, Winmarleigh Street, Sankey Street, Bold Street, Suez Street, Rylands Street, Bridge Street.
Pedestrian and emergency routes will be maintained.
