Warrington does The Apprentice

norman-bannerWARRINGTON’S very own version of popular TV show The Apprentice is to be launched in March.
St Rocco’s Young Apprentice, a new scheme that will offer opportunities for young people and also raise money for the hospice, will invite youngsters aged 16-17 to compete for valuable work experience and training.
Their ‘task’ will be to obtain sponsorship from a local business of £30, which they then have to turn into as much money as possible for the Hospice over the summer, whilst raising its profile at the same time.
They will present their achievements in front of a high-profile panel in early September, who will decided who is fired, and who is hired for work experience with one of St Rocco’s Corporate Partners. All candidates will be offered some training through The Business Network.
Norman Banner, former partner of FDR Law and Chair of St. Rocco’s will take on the role of Lord Sugar, flanked by real-life star of The Apprentice, Neil Clough (a finalist in the 2013 series) and local leader Tracy Griffiths, owner of The Business Network.
