WARRINGTON based social landlord Golden Gates Housing Trust has received a seal of approval after achieving the maximum possible rating for governance and financial viability from independent regulator the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
The HCA regulatory judgement takes into account how the Trust manages and operates its boards and follows a detailed review of their financial accounts, budgets and plans.
Director of business services at the Trust Allen Barber said: “It is great news to have achieved the top rating from the HCA.
“The judgement represents a positive confirmation of our business, governance and financial viability and can provide our customers and staff reassurance as we continue to invest in homes and neighbourhoods.”
Golden Gates are responsible for 8,700 homes across Warrington and have pledged to invest £530 million over 30 years in tenants’ homes and neighbourhoods to deliver the “Warrington Standard.”
Plans include the installation of double glazing and secured front and rear doors in all properties over the next five years as well as environmental improvements such as fencing, gates, paths and lighting.
