AS Lee Briers prepares to make his come back from injury with partner

club Swinton Lions Warrington Wolves boss Tony Smith is also hopeful

that club captain Adrian Morley will be back in the next couple of weeks.
With Rhys Evans and Chris Bridge also nearing fitness Smith says his squad is in “pretty good shape and near to full strength,” as he prepares for a tought test at Huddersfield this Sunday.
As a result he has allowed Tyrone McCarthy to depart to Castleford Tigers for a month on loan to gain match time.
Meanwhile Smith remains coy about finding a replacement for young Prop Mike Cooper who departs down under at the end of the season – and will make an annoucement on whether he will be replaced from within or by a new signing “at the appropriate time.”

Briers (pictured right) could partner young Wolves half back Gareth O’Brien, who is also on dual registration, when Gary Chamber’s Swinton Lions take on Whitehaven at Leigh Sports Village tomorrow (Thursday).
Briers has missed the last 12 games with a neck injury which threatened to end his career and then a small calf tear.
