Man robbed in the street

POLICE today appealed for witnesses after a man was robbed at Warrington.
Three offenders are said to have been involved in the incident in Winwick Road, outside LA Bowl.
It was about 10pm on Saturday (January 26) when the victim, a 22-year-old man, was standing talking on his mobile phone.
He was approached by three men, one of who hit him while another restrained him. A third man stole his mobile.
The offenders then ran off down an alleyway onto Gough Avenue.
A friend of the victim went after the offenders but as assaulted.
The three offenders were all about 5ft 11 inches tall. One was of stocky build, wearing tracksuit bottoms, a zip-up neck warmer with red lines on the zip and black gloves.
A second man was slim, with gingery hair and was wearing a black hooded jacket with the hood up, dark trousers and gloves. The third was also slim, wearing a black hooded jacket zipped up over his mouth, dark trousers and gloves.
All three spoke with local accents.
