PUPILS from a Warrington school are taking part in a project to run social enterprise businesses to benefit the community and people in need.
Year Nine pupils at Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School are working in teams to run small businesses with a social conscience.
The pupils are hoping to showcase their work in July next year when they will have stalls at the school’s Boteler Out Loud Festival.
A school spokesperson said: “This is an exciting opportunity for the youngsters and as well as learning important life skills such as entrepreneurship and team- working, they will receive a recognised Level 2 qualification.
“At the present time we are looking for businesses large and small to assist in the delivery – if you could offer any help then we would like to hear from you.”
