Imaginary curator has stories to tell!

SOME of the artefacts in Warrington Museum have told their “stories” to an imaginary Victorian curator so he can share them with visitors.
The museum’s fictitious Victorian curator, Wilfred Maurace Augustus Grenville, “spoke” to artefacts to find out how they got there.
An exhibition at the venue, which runs until the end of February, features stories about where some of the objects came from and why they are there.
The fun and educational exhibition mixes fact with a sprinkling of fiction to reveal some of the amazing lives of the artefacts such as the story of the Paddington seal, the Winwick brooch and the shrunken head, to name a few.
It has been designed to get people thinking about the objects they see on display and try and imagine who might have owned them or used them in years gone by.
