A chance to meet an artist

WARRINGTON people are invited to meet a local artist tonight (Wednesday) and to learn her skills.
As part of Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival, The Gallery At Bank Quay House, is holding a meet and greet event with Kate Bufton between 6pm and 8pm.
Her work involves manipulating the shape and form of old books.
By altering the original form, through various cuts and folds they are transformed from a carrier of text to objects of art.
During the evening visitors can ask questions about her work and have a go at transforming old books into art works.
The event is free and refreshments are available. Anyone interested in attending should contact the gallery on 01925 418 064.
