FIRE crews from Warrington were called to a big high school to deal with an early morning blaze.
The incident was at Lymm High School, in Oughtrington Lane, Lymm shortly after 5am yesterday.
A wheeled bin was well-alight and firefighters used hand appliances to extinguish the flames. There was no damage to the school buildings.
In a separate incident, fire crews were called to White Street, Warrington in the early hours of yesterday to deal with a wheeled bin that had been set alight. They used a high pressure hose reel jet to deal with the incident which, again, caused no damage to property.
Fire officers issued an appeal to residents to make sure wheeled bins are not left in vulnerable places, close to buildings or other property.
