Woman hurt in road crash

A WOMAN driver was injured in a road crash at Warrington today.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the collision which occurred shortly at 2.30pm near the Golden Square Shopping Centre on Midland Way.
Two vehicles were involved – a Skoda ambulance service response vehicle and a blue Peugeot driven by a local woman.
The Peugeot driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed to allow recovery of the vehicles involved.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Warrington Police Traffic Unit on 0845 458 0000.
