DRAMA group The Bridgewater Players is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and rehearsals for the first play of the year are in their final stages.
The Play is a Ray Cooney farce, “Run for your Wife” and will be staged at Thelwall Parish Hall on February 10, 11 and 12. Tickets are still available from Andy Rushman on 01925 755846.
Casting has also been completed for their next production, on April 14, 15 and 16, a thriller entitled “Dead Man’s Hand” by Seymour Matthews.
Originally it had been intended to stage “The Killing of Sister George” but this has been abandoned for the time being because of casting difficulties.
The Bridgewater Players have also decided to stage a murder mystery evening at Thelwall Parish Hall on April 9 to help raise funds for new lighting and sound equipment.
