  1. £3790 seems an awful lot of money for only 19 hanging baskets and 15 planters. How much maintenance do they need and who gets paid for doing it ? Who supplies the plants ? My suggestion would be that they ask about having the baskets and planters filled for free (or at a much reduced rate) and put the suppliers name on a little plaque.. free advertising 🙂 Surely the parish councillors or someone else could dead head them when necessary and the local shops could easily water them if they are hanging outside their premises ! Simples and all FREE(ish) 🙂

  2. The same company is providing the service to Lymm Parish Council ie all their hanging baskets, planters, troughs and window boxes but Lymms is £2557 !?! Maybe they don’t have as many as SH but not a bad income for the supplier eh
